Season's Eatings Ice Cream Gift - 4 Pints

Sent this as a gift to our family. Nothing but rave reviews. As always the ice cream is great!

I was really worried because of course there was weather over Christmas and my shipment was delayed. My mom ended up still getting it before Christmas AND it was not a melted soupy mess!! Not to mention she said it was delicious!! I’ll order again for sure!!

I ordered 4 pints of ice cream during a promotional offer. After accepting what I already considered to be a high price for ice cream I found that I’d be paying an additional $20 for shipping. The shipping ended up being delayed by a couple days, so no ice cream for me. Now, this is clearly a shipping issue - so why the low rating? I called after the package was 24 hours late (remember, this is ice cream) and was told I’d need to wait an additional day before they’d be willing to refund my money. They also told me that the delivery was packed for 3 days of transit (this timeline matched the tentative shipping arrival), but then proceeded to tell me I had to wait 5 days because it would probably last that long. Huh? I spent the next couple days trying to get ahold of someone to no avail, then finally received a call back to get a refund. To recap: the ice cream is expensive, the shipping is really expensive, the employees don’t know how long the perishable item lasts after it’s shipped, and when things finally don’t work out and you need a refund be prepared for it to take a reasonable amount of effort to be made whole. +1 star for processing the refund, and the woman I talked to was exceptionally pleasant.

This is the 2nd year I’ve sent this particular collection to a friend for Christmas and her family was even MORE excited this year when they saw it than their first year:)
